“ We recently had a date night here and really enjoyed ourselves. We had the beet frites, Friday special Fish and Chips, and Pork Snitzel. Service was a tad on the slow side, but aside from that was a great experience. Will be back to try some of the other yummy looking food on the menu. The restaurant has a main dining space, smaller back space (bring a sweater as it was cool the night we came), and nice rear patio area. We enjoyed patio for most of the evening and then came inside to finish off the night. ”
“ I visited with a friend for a weeknight dinner. It was both our first times visiting Betula. We were seated in a lovely corner by the window, filled with plants. I ordered the special of the day, pulled pork tacos. The presentation was beautiful and they were delicious. The service was great too! I can't wait to visit again! ”
“ Delicious! The prices were really reasonable given the current inflationary state of things. No app was over 14, no main was over 32. The most surprising price was the dessert at 10. Drinks were also around 10. We had a mojito, a gin grapefruit splash, a baby kale Caesar salad, the autumn salad, the pasta carbonara and the maple glazed arctic char. Finished with a chocolate terrine. Everything was amazing. Seasonal, house made, and fresh. My spouse said it was the best carbonara he had ever had. Perfectly al dente. Our only complaint was the croutons in the Caesar salad were teeth breakingly hard. Other than that I enjoyed every bite. It's a smaller, more intimate space. But we went on a Thursday evening, so they were able to accommodate. ”
“ We stopped by Betula a little while after the dinner hour to enjoy a couple of appetizers and a drink. We ordered the Buttermilk Fried Cauliflower, French Onion Soup, Hummus & Chips, and Bread & Butter to share between my wife, sons, and I. All of the dishes were quite tasty. I also ordered a Shed Original Lager to go with the food, also quite enjoyable. The restaurant atmosphere is great. I remember the previous restaurant that occupied the space, and the difference is pretty remarkable in a positive way. Recommended! ”
“ Tasty food, good portions, average price. The booth benches are very uncomfortable, which could be improved. Apparently the Shanti my mother had was pretty bad. Our server put up with us well. ”
